outreach week

the parish has declared 08 june to 14 june 2009 an outreach week ,each congregation was to choose a day where they will be participating in an outreach project of their choice and Turfloop congregation will be visiting the aged and the re a kgona orphanage in Mankweng on Saturday 13 june 2009 :Let us be seen to be making a difference as a leaque and a church.

guys this is that time of the year where we celebrate youth day which is in remembrance of brothers and sisters who died fighting bravely for our own freedom agaist the apartheid govermemt

the youth of today is no longer fighting that type of war ,our focus should be to get educated,stay away from drugs,and obviously early pregnancies and Hiv and Aids

The Turfloop parish will be commemorating this day differently as

we will be having a formal sessoin where an HIV person will be speaking to the youth and we will also be having our parish sports day afterwards

it is that time of the year when the whole of Mphome Circuit Youth come together for a weekend to clebrate our being in the form of cultural weekend

For the first time in the history of the mphome circuit youth the event will be held in a more conducive environment
